Understanding Overdraft Fees and Your UP Faith & Family Subscription
Overdraft fees can sometimes occur when a payment is processed without sufficient funds in your account. Below is an explanation of how this works and how it relates to your UP Faith & Family subscription.
What Are Overdraft Fees?
Overdraft fees are charges applied by your bank when there are not enough funds in your account to cover a transaction.
If a payment is processed and your account balance drops below zero, your bank may allow the transaction to go through and apply an overdraft fee.
How This Relates to UP Faith & Family Payments
If you have a recurring subscription payment scheduled with UP Faith & Family and your account balance is low at the time of billing:
- Your bank may still approve the transaction to avoid interrupting your service
- If this happens, your account may go into a negative balance
- Your bank may then apply an overdraft fee
Important Things to Know
- UP Faith & Family only charges your subscription fee and any selected add-ons
- We do not charge overdraft fees
- Overdraft fees are applied solely by your bank or financial institution
- Only your bank has the ability to refund or reverse overdraft fees
What Should You Do?
If you have questions or concerns about an overdraft fee:
- Contact your bank or financial institution directly
- They can review your account and explain their overdraft policies
- They may also be able to assist with fee reversals, depending on their policies
