How to Turn On Closed Captions on Apple TV
You can enable closed captions or subtitles while streaming UP Faith & Family content through the Apple TV app on supported Apple devices, smart TVs, and streaming devices.
Turn On Closed Captions on Apple TV, Smart TV, or Streaming Device
- Start playing a video.
- While the video is playing, open the playback controls:
- On an Apple TV remote or Siri Remote, press the Play/Pause button.
- On a smart TV or streaming device remote, press the button that displays the video timeline or playback menu.
- Navigate to the Subtitles button.
- Select your preferred subtitle or caption option.
You can also choose available audio languages if supported.

- While watching a video, tap the screen to display playback controls.
- Tap the More Controls button.
- Select Subtitles or Languages.
